Herbalife, a nutrition and weight management company, has signed a multi-million deal with Spanish giants FC Barcelona. The deal will see them enjoy the global rights to the team’s logo, significant on-field advertisements and access to the players for promotional activities. They have also agreed to sign Barcelona’s Argentine forward Lionel Messi, to a three-year personal services agreement that will support the sponsorship.

Herbalife will also be the main sponsor of the Catalan clubs’s pre-season friendlies and have their logo displayed on the left sleeve of the team’s shirts in all of the international friendlies.

Herbalife already has the sponsorship deal with Valencia for their shorts and also with LA Galaxy of the MLS.

The Los Angeles based company’s independent distributer, Roy Davidson, said:
